Hearts Skip a Beat — A Wedding at Fourth Presbyterian Church & The Langham Chicago
Some love stories write themselves. Allie and Tim’s just happened to begin in scrubs. Two cardiologists. One residency. And somewhere between long shifts and late nights, their hearts skipped a beat. When it came time to celebrate that love, they chose two of Chicago’s most iconic venues and trusted us to bring Allie’s vision to life.
Their ceremony took place at Fourth Presbyterian Church on Michigan Avenue, one of downtown Chicago’s most breathtaking historic spaces. Soaring stone arches, warm light filtering through stained glass, a sense of occasion that needs no embellishment. It set exactly the right tone for what came next.
The reception at The Langham Chicago is where Allie’s personality entered the room. She loves purple, and we leaned in. Rich, layered purple hues floated above the tables, lifting the Langham’s signature neutral palette and transforming the space into something deeply personal. Lush linens, glinting chargers, and soft candlelight layered beneath gave the bold color somewhere beautiful to land.
The moment Allie walked in and saw it for the first time? That’s the moment we work for. Her vision, the one she’d held onto through every planning conversation, was standing in front of her. Real, and full of the people she loves most. There is simply nothing better than that.
