Italian Villa Inspired Wedding with a Chicago Twist at Revel Motor Row

Val and Rory's love story began at the University of Illinois, where they met when Val was a freshman. Val, who is a model, remembers noting that Rory was a “cute, tall” guy right away—and the rest is history! For their Chicago wedding at Revel Motor Row, they wanted to create an atmosphere that exuded the feeling of an Italian villa with a sophisticated city touch. Design-wise, stunning magenta florals set the tone for this beautiful venue. To keep things modern, we chose to create a black tablescape with contemporary candles. As the night progressed, we wanted guests to dance under the moonlight, and the gift of perfect weather allowed us to achieve this vision. To create a true moment on the dance floor, we incorporated greenery and florals that added a touch of magic to the night. Following the reception, guests moved inside where the party continued with a food truck and a fun DJ in a club-like atmosphere. It was an unforgettable evening filled with love, laughter, and lots of moonlit dancing!
